Pregnancy Update Week 28…
So lets start with the positive – I’ve reached the THIRD TRIMESTER! Hooray! I’m so glad to be near the end (in the nicest possible way…) as I’m not sure I’m really cut out for pregnancy!
This week has not been a very good week. The sinusitis is back. We spent a day in hospital for reduced movements (he’s fine despite deciding not to move for 5 hours!). I’ve not been feeling myself & have hardly slept. My 28 week bloods showed my iron levels are rock bottom. Sophie has been poorly with a sick bug which I’m waiting to catch so overall… definitely not a good week!
How big is the baby? As big as an aubergine!
Total weight gain / loss? +9 lb
Maternity clothes? Maternity leggings obviously! I’m now living in the same few baggy jumpers … think I may need to buy some more!
Sleep? Awful again. Waking up at about 3 am and not being able to get back to sleep til about 6. Probably didn’t help that I spent a night without any sleep at all due to poor Sophie being ill.
Best moment this week? Reaching the third trimester!
Symptoms? Feeling quite low, tired (funnily enough…) & generally grotty.
Food cravings? Happy to eat most things!
Food aversions? None!
Stretch marks? The old stretch marks are certainly getting redder
What I miss? Sleep!
What I’m looking forward to? Sleep! (Who am I kidding?)
Bump? After deciding not to move for 5 hours straight, he hasn’t stopped since.
