Santa’s Beard Christmas Craft
A simple, toddler-friendly colouring & sticking Christmas themed activity. Toddlers can practise their fine motor skills as they glue & stick cotton wool onto Santa’s beard!
- Cardboard cut-out of Santa’s face or design your own
- Cotton wool balls
- Glue stick
- Red crayons or paint
Print out our Santa’s face template or draw your own.
Get little one to colour or paint Santa’s hat & face.
Cover the beard area with glue – we used a glue stick as it was less messy!
Demonstrate how & then let your toddler stick the cotton wool balls onto Santa’s beard.
Repeat gluing & sticking with the trim & bobble of Santa’s hat.
Sophie enjoyed sticking the cotton wool down & was particularly intrigued by how it also stuck to her fingers!
When Santa is coloured in & the cotton wool glued on, use scissors to cut around the face & hat.
When completed you have a simple home-made Christmas decoration to add to the festivities!
NB: You could use gluing & sticking cotton wool balls for a variety of other Christmas activities. For example making a snowman or creating a winter scene using the cotton wool as a snow!
